I'd like to extend my profound thanks for taking the time to join us at our new blog ThinkingThroughAutonomy or just "TTA." Helping the community understand the promise and impact of autonomous land and air vehicles on our world is the entire point of launching this new site. Along the way, we are also going to discuss how companies can prepare to use autonomy in their own work and efficiently bring their autonomous products to market. I promise you we're not going to brainlessly retweet or share news stories or articles from other sites.
Several years ago, as a young Air Force pilot spending a winter in Iceland, (a situation primed for deep thinking about one's place in the world), I received the best career advice ever from a Navy Captain. He said to me, "only do the work you care about and are passionate about." To me, that describes how I feel about autonomous vehicles and why I started Catalyst-Go and TTA. I look at autonomy today and think that we are where the iPhone was ten years ago. Just as that device changed the world, driverless and pilotless vehicles will spark the next revolution. I wish I had that insight ten years ago holding my new generation one iPhone in my hand. Next time you see a driverless car or a drone, ask yourself if you too believe that your world will completely change by the end of the next decade through these machines.
TTA is the home for original thought and analysis of how technology impacts our lives, jobs, and the environment. If you'd like to share your original analysis for TTA please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We'd like to get to know you better. We will be posting our first article, "How Practicing Innovation Translates to Series A Funding," shortly. Also, don't forget to sign up for the blog. We'll deliver new content directly to your inbox.
Thanks for joining the community,
